Del 12 al 15 de Octubre de 2021, se llevó a cabo el ETCM 2021, el congreso más importante en Ecuador, el cual fue organizado por IEEE Sección Ecuador en colaboración de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca y tuvo una modalidad híbrida (virtual y presencial) .
En este evento tan importante se realizaron los siguientes tutoriales :

Generación de dashboards de gestión con herramientas Cloud.
Real Time Simulation in MatLab
Smart City and Smart Grid
Se tuvo la participación de ponentes tanto nacionales como internacionales.
Durante el evento se desarrollaron actividades culturales, con la presencia de artistas durante la noche cultural y el cóctel en el segundo día con la participación de un sommelier para una cata de cervezas virtual
El evento culminó con la clausura en la Universidad Católica de Cuenca, donde se entregaron premios a los mejores papers de cada track, los papers premiados fueron los siguientes:
