Conference The Mexican Robotics Federation and the Universidad de Las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) are organizing for the first time the 1st Mexican Conference on Intelligent Robots (MEXCIR) 2025 to foster the development of robotics and to gather enthusiasts and professionals from different communities to discuss the challenges of intelligent robots. The three days of the conference will include international keynote speakers, tutorials, panels, and presentations from works accepted after a peer-review process. Accepted manuscripts will be published as chapters of a book that will be edited by the Mexican Robotics Federation and published in 2025 by a highly reputable international publisher. At the event titled "RAS Journey of Collaboration and Knowledge", the IEEE RAS competition team from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) met with members of the IEEE RAS from SENAI CIMATEC. The presentation, held at IEEE RSR (Student Branches Meeting in Rio de Janeiro), explored how IEEE supports professionals in beginning their postgraduate journeys, emphasizing the networking opportunities gained through membership. It addressed various ways to get involved in IEEE, such as participating in humanitarian activities, engaging with technical societies, and joining Young Professionals groups within technical communities. Additionally, the presentation highlighted examples of scholarships and grants available for Young Professionals and detailed funding opportunities for activities, which open at different times throughout the year. Practical suggestions for starting a career after graduation were also provided, alongside examples specifically tailored for Young Professionals in IEEE ComSoc.
