We are pleased to invite you to the IEEE Latin America & the Caribbean Semiconductor Summit (https://lacss.ieee.org), this is the 1st edition of an IWRC even outside the US, and is taking place on September 26th, 2025 in Bogota, Colombia.

This event is designed for academia, government, and industry looking for an opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of the Semiconductor industry ecosystem in our Region. It will feature industry keynotes, global to local perspectives talks, panels, and networking opportunities with leaders from across the Americas.

 Event Focus:

Aligned with the IEEE Semiconductors global IEEE Future Directions efforts, this year’s program will explore topics such as:

  • The current and future state of semiconductor value chain
  • Learn from experienced industry actors about how to innovate in hardware solutions in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Discover opportunities and challenges in workforce development
  • Dive in the Americas’ semiconductor partnership: Investment, Innovation, and Collaboration.
  • Government Perspectives (Including Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico among others)
