The MOVE program is looking for qualified volunteers who not only have a deep passion for humanitarian work but also the expertise, wisdom and time to commit in support of the program. We are currently seeking candidates for leadership positions of committees and working groups for our global program expansion. Currently we are looking for volunteers in support of our programs in Puerto Rico. We realize that few people have the ability to extensively volunteer to a program such as ours. En la biología del desarrollo, la información posicional que dicta el orden espacial de diferenciación celular es generalmente dictada por gradientes morfogenéticos. Conceptualmente, el modelo es que estos gradientes establecen patrones de expresión génica dependiendo de la concentración, pero en la práctica esto resultaría en poca precisión y reproducibilidad de los patrones resultantes. En esta charla, daré una introducción a algunos mecanismos que ofrecen robustez y mostraré que a mayor robustez se pierde precisión. utilizando modelos matemáticos no lineales. Combinando trabajo teórico y experimental en el desarrollo del tejido precursor del ala de la mosca de la fruta, Drosophila melanogaster, mostraré cómo los sistemas biológicos pueden ofrecer soluciones a problemas complejos. Towards the Internet of Senses: Integrating Human Mind, Body and 6G

This talk focuses on the convergence of technologies to combine human body and mind in a holistic way as the next generation Internet evolves to the Internet of senses. The key technologies enabling this transformation are: 6G, web, wearables, access to the Internet, AI, and crowd sourcing of the knowledge. At the same time, there are many business models in the play that present vast opportunities to the "would be entrepreneurs" and disrupt the current market. We present the drivers for these opportunities, what needs to happen, and what technologies would dominate its enablement. We believe the technologies affecting the human body and mind in a positive way would potentially dominate the social movement 10 years from now or sooner.
