How to measure data quality and patterns during the time series of land cover and land use maps

Validation of Land Cover and Land Use Maps. Assumptions and reality in the context of Mapbiomas Project.
MapBiomas is a multi-institutional initiative involving universities, NGOs, and technology companies that have come together to contribute to the understanding of the transformations occurring in the Brazilian territory through the annual mapping of land cover and land use in Brazil. As a result of this project, Brazil's annual maps of land cover and land use cover now the period from 1985 to 2021 on a 30 m spatial resolution. This Webinar, "How to measure data quality and patterns during the time series of land cover and land use maps from MapBiomas," will present insights into data quality analysis and patterns conducted in this initiative.
Future research perspectives and directions will also be addressed.
