IEEE MOVE Interested Group Form

Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/407879

We are delighted with your interest in joining the IEEE MOVE Community Outreach initiative. The MOVE program is looking for qualified volunteers who not only have a deep passion for humanitarian work but also the expertise, wisdom and time to commit in support of the program. We are currently seeking candidates for leadership positions of committees and working groups for our global program expansion. Currently we are looking for volunteers in support of our programs in Puerto Rico. We realize that few people have the ability to extensively volunteer to a program such as ours. It is through the diverse efforts of committee members, each contribution their time and resources as they are able, in a combined effort that allows us to address the many programmatic needs. Information you provide will allow us to appreciate your talents and time so we can best engage you in the program. For more information, you can visit the (https://move.ieee.org/) webpage. Thank you! Co-sponsored by: IEEE MOVE Puerto Rico Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/407879

IEEE YP Challenge Series @ SACVLC 2025

La paz, La Paz, Bolivia

● IEEE Young Professionals at SACVLC 2025 – IEEE Young Professionals Bolivia will actively support the SACVLC 2025 International Congress by organizing four competitions that will take place in parallel with the congress sessions, encouraging participation from students, researchers, and professionals. ● RobotWars – A robot combat competition with wireless-controlled devices. Teams must design and build robots following the technical specifications outlined in the official call. The matches are held one-on-one in an elimination format until the final winner is determined. ● Sumobots – A competition of autonomous pushing robots that must meet the parameters specified in the call. The matches are held in pairs through elimination rounds, advancing to semifinals and finals, where the champion is crowned. ● Scientific Poster Competition – Presentation of research articles in poster format, reviewed and evaluated by a specialized jury based on established criteria. A winner will be selected after the jury’s deliberation. ● Treasure Hunt – An interactive challenge where teams solve five levels of tasks in a progressive order. Topics include telecommunications theory, IEEE YP knowledge, wireless communication practice, networking practice, signal analysis, and programming. The first team to complete all levels is declared the winner. ● Logistics and Benefits – Participants may register for one or multiple competitions. Snacks and drinks will be provided to all teams during the event, and winners will receive prizes secured through external sponsorship, with support confirmed from Universidad Privada del Valle.
