IEEE MOVE Interested Group Form

Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/407879

We are delighted with your interest in joining the IEEE MOVE Community Outreach initiative. The MOVE program is looking for qualified volunteers who not only have a deep passion for humanitarian work but also the expertise, wisdom and time to commit in support of the program. We are currently seeking candidates for leadership positions of committees and working groups for our global program expansion. Currently we are looking for volunteers in support of our programs in Puerto Rico. We realize that few people have the ability to extensively volunteer to a program such as ours. It is through the diverse efforts of committee members, each contribution their time and resources as they are able, in a combined effort that allows us to address the many programmatic needs. Information you provide will allow us to appreciate your talents and time so we can best engage you in the program. For more information, you can visit the (https://move.ieee.org/) webpage. Transición Energética en Dinamarca versus México

Bldg: CENACE Gerencia de Control, Antiguo Camino a la Resurrección, Industrial Resurrección, Puebla, Puebla, Mexico, 72227

This conference will discuss Mexico's approach to wind energy generation, comparing it with Denmark and exploring the opportunities that come with integrating renewable energies. The presentation will include tables and graphs to illustrate Mexico's current energy production using various sources from the Independent Energy Producers (PIE) and the Transmission System Operator (TSO), which is the Federal Commission of Electricity (CFE) in Mexico. The information presented is based on reports and technical literature from Mexico, Denmark, and international organizations for reference. The findings of this work emphasize that Mexico's transition to renewable energy is a gradual reality. It is crucial to implement analytical technologies, not just monitoring parameters required by the Technical Regulations or laws, to ensure energy security. Additionally, the intention is to demonstrate that achieving energy sustainability must involve other mechanisms for reducing CO2 emissions, such as incorporating train and railway systems in regions of Mexico that require technical studies to address climate change.
