1st MTT-S Virtual Lecture Series at UNICAMP: DML Vittorio Camarchia
This report highlights the online lecture delivered by Vittorio Camarchia as part of the 1st IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society Virtual Lecture Series at UNICAMP. The event was broadcast live via YouTube to participants from across Brazil on May 13, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, through the following link: https://youtube.com/live/5sxLSvzVx5g During the lecture, Vittorio Camarchia presented the topic “High-Frequency Doherty Power Amplifiers: Challenges and Design Approaches,” discussing advanced concepts related to high-efficiency power amplifiers for modern wireless communication systems. The presentation addressed challenges associated with high-frequency operation, including device limitations, parasitic effects, bandwidth enhancement, efficiency optimization, and linearity considerations in wideband systems. The activity provided valuable technical knowledge to students, researchers, and professionals in microwave engineering and RF systems, while also strengthening the visibility and outreach of the IEEE MTT-S community in Brazil. This initiative reinforced the commitment of the UNICAMP MTT-S Student Chapter to promoting high-level technical education, international collaboration, and accessible online activities for the broader engineering community.
