We are delighted with your interest in joining the IEEE MOVE Community Outreach initiative. The MOVE program is looking for qualified volunteers who not only have a deep passion for humanitarian work but also the expertise, wisdom and time to commit in support of the program. We are currently seeking candidates for leadership positions of committees and working groups for our global program expansion. Currently we are looking for volunteers in support of our programs in Puerto Rico. We realize that few people have the ability to extensively volunteer to a program such as ours. It is through the diverse efforts of committee members, each contribution their time and resources as they are able, in a combined effort that allows us to address the many programmatic needs. Information you provide will allow us to appreciate your talents and time so we can best engage you in the program. For more information, you can visit the (https://move.ieee.org/) webpage. Thank you! Co-sponsored by: IEEE MOVE Puerto Rico Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/407879

2 eventos,As part of initiatives aimed at strengthening community identity and fostering long-term inspiration, the Faculty of Engineering at UADY organized the Time Capsule FIUADY 2025–2040. This project was designed to preserve the experiences, values, and aspirations of the current generation, creating a symbolic bridge between present and future students. Through this activity, we aim to highlight the importance of collective memory, unity, and representation, particularly encouraging future generations of women in STEM to recognize that their voices and contributions transcend time. The time capsule serves not only as a record of our academic life, but also as a message of empowerment and continuity. --------------------------------------------------------------- Institutional Activity Summary: The Time Capsule FIUADY 2025–2040 brought together 18 student organizations, including student societies and councils, to contribute meaningful elements that represent the identity and experiences of the university community. This collective effort resulted in a diverse compilation of materials that reflect both academic and personal dimensions of student life. Among the contributions, more than 80 messages—including letters, poems, drawings, and reflections—were dedicated to future generations of women in STEM, aiming to inspire and motivate them. Additionally, over 50 photographs documented key moments such as academic activities, facilities, and community interactions. The capsule also includes articles and reports of significant events, as well as symbolic objects like clothing items, pins, stickers, and letters from student organizations. Technological and academic artifacts were also incorporated, including prototypes, 3D prints, printed circuit boards (PCBs), laser-cut pieces, metal structures, and electronic devices. These elements showcase the technical capabilities and creativity of the current generation. Complementary items such as mobility records, symbolic accessories, and everyday academic objects further enrich the narrative preserved within the capsule. This initiative stands as a testament to the unity, diversity, and creativity of the FIUADY community. It represents a shared commitment to leaving a meaningful legacy and to inspiring future students who will rediscover these memories in the year 2040.
