PITCH COMPETITION
The Pitch Competition is a high-impact challenge designed to bridge the gap between academic talent and industrial needs. This activity provides a platform for students to demonstrate their problem-solving capabilities and innovative thinking in a professional environment.
The Challenge
- Project Scope: Participants must address a specific problem or innovation opportunity defined by the event's sponsoring companies.
- Team Structure: Work must be performed in teams composed of 3 to 5 IEEE Region 9 students.
Presentation Requirements
- Oral Pitch: Teams will have a defined time to present their solution, followed by a formal Q&A session.
- Supporting Materials: Teams must provide an executive summary or a simplified Proof of Concept (PoC).
Evaluation Criteria
Teams will be judged based on the following professional standards:
- Originality and uniqueness of the proposed solution.
- Technical and economic capacity to realistically implement the idea.
- The overall value added to the specific problem posed by the company.
- Communication skills, clarity, and effectiveness of the presentation.
