Forthcoming GRSS Young Professionals and ISPRS Summer School event will take place at Sorocaba

On March 27, members of the Brazil'GRSS Chapter Board, Prof. Dr. Rafael Lemos (IEAv/CTA) and Dr. Veraldo Liesenberg (UDESC) deliver special talks about the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) and benefits of membership at the FACENS (Engineering University of Sorocaba). The audience was formed by rectors and directors of the local Universities from Sorocaba such as FACENS, UNESP, UFSCar, and UNISO.

Sorocaba city, nearby Sao Paulo city, and close to the major Brazilian international airport, is chosen for the 5th GRSS Young Professionals and ISPRS Summer School. The event will take place from November 10 to 14 and will be part of the SERFA (the Brazilian Symposium of Remote Sensing Applications for Defense).

After, a visit with some representatives was made to the Technological Park of Sorocaba in order to check the details of the possible place where the event SERFA & GRSS Young Professionals & ISPRS Summer School will occur from November 10 to 14, 2019.
