We are a non-profit organization that has dedicated itself to supporting Geoscience and Remote Sensing education and research in Brazil. Our goal is to enhance communication and collaboration between academia, state administration, and industry.
Chapter members benefit from various programs including the Distinguished Speakers, Regional Speakers, and other Education and Awards program, provided by GRSS in support of Chapters.
Officially formed on February, 17th, 2015 this is the first Brazilian and thus far the only GRSS chapter in Brazil and encompasses a territory of about 8.500.000 Km2. It is directly linked to IEEE Brazil’s Council.
