STEAM NEXUM at the Sarmiento Museum

On July 17th we held the STEAM NEXUM event, the challenge of teaching
at the Sarmiento Historical Museum of Cuba 2070, in front of Plaza Belgrano.

STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses science,
technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics as access points for
guide students' inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking.

Organized by IEEE CIS GTC, the Authorities of the Museum and the Scientific Society
Argentina, the meeting was most rewarding. The exhibitions of the
panelists were revealing and stimulating. In addition, they came from different places
Argentina: Entre Ríos, La Rioja, Jujuy, Chaco, Ciudad and Province of Buenos
Aires, which allowed us to have a more complete picture of what in terms of
STEAM education is being generated in the country.

We thank everyone for combining their experiences and enthusiasm in this space
who put day to day to incorporate new methods and ideas that improve the quality of
teaching/learning. Yo
