We enthusiastically celebrate the 5 years of the IEEE Caribbean Section! Since its inception, we have grown, learned, and shared knowledge in the region. To commemorate this milestone, we have prepared a week full of exciting events. Our technical chapters joined forces to offer a variety of technical activities for the benefit of our community. Additionally, we had the honor of having Eng. Vinicio Carrera, DVP of IEEE Computer Society, participate.

At Unisinú, in the city of Montería, we had the first activity of the week. Attendees enjoyed an academic celebration full of knowledge.

In Sincelejo, Vinicio’s participation was inspiring, providing valuable insights to our anniversary. Thanks to everyone who joined to make this event a success!

Wednesday, November 15

At Unitecnar Cartagena, we had the third activity of the week. Attendees enjoyed an academic celebration full of knowledge, led by Vinicio and Antonio L. Tibaduiza, who spoke about the challenges and achievements in technology and artificial intelligence.

Thursday, November 16

On Friday, November 17th, at Simon Bolivar University, we had the privilege of having two exceptional speakers: Vinicio Carrera and César Viloria with their talk: «Enabling Business Digital Transformation.»
