2020 IEEE PES General Meeting – Going Virtual

Registration Link: 2020 PES General Meeting – Going Virtual The IEEE PES General Meeting organizing committee, along with IEEE PES leadership, places the health and safety of our members and participants of paramount importance. After consultation with the Canadian government within the province of Quebec related to ongoing travel restrictions, government facility closures, as well as health concerns, we will be pivoting from an in-person event and adopting a fully virtual format. The dates and schedule for the meeting are unchanged and will be held 2-6 August 2020, and event registration will continue for all attendees, authors, and guest speakers. This virtual format will provide an opportunity for our community to continue to present their research and collaborate with their peers across the globe. Information of the virtual platform will be confirmed shortly. Precise guidelines for all authors (papers/posters) will be available shortly. All authors will need to adhere to the guidelines for presentation as part of the virtual event to be permitted publication within IEEE Xplore. The conference website will be updated progressively to reflect the above changes. We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of our technical community for your understanding and community engagement. Although the IEEE PES GM cannot be held physically, the integrity and quality of the content will remain and now be experienced in the virtual environment. Thank you for your support of our shared mission to be the leading provider of scientific and engineering information on electric power and energy for the betterment of society.
