Christian Figueroa is an Aerospace Engineer, focused on the discipline of controls. He currently works for Honeywell Aerospace. His passion for airplanes has led him to achieve different accomplishments including being selected as “Outstanding Engineer” of his department. A select award that only 3% of the company’s worldwide population earns. In the IEEE he has served in different roles, the most prominent being: Puerto Rico and Caribbean YP Section Chair (2018-2019) and Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section Chair (2020-2021). During the second one, together with his work team, he achieved that the Puerto Rico and Caribbean Section won the regional award of “Outstanding Section Award 2020”. After this he was commissioned to occupy the role of R9 SAC Chair (2022 – 2023). He currently supports as Past SAC Chair (2024 – 2025).
