HOST OPPORTUNITY
SBRM 2027
IEEE Region 9 invites active Student Branches interested in hosting the Student Branches Regional Meeting 2027 to submit their proposal.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least one local or international corporate partnership focused on students and early career professionals.
- The host IEEE Student Branch must be active.
- Institutional support letter from at least one university or academic institution.
- IEEE Section support.
- Facilities and meeting rooms capable of accommodating 200+ attendees.
- Lodging options with capacity for 200+ guests.
- Tourist and cultural attractions.
What To Submit
Applications must include the following documentation and materials.
Detailed Proposal Document
Submit a comprehensive proposal in PDF format including:
- Event Logistics: venue facilities, lodging options and local transport.
- Academic and Industry Engagement: partnering universities and target industry partnerships.
- Finances: preliminary budget and potential sponsors.
- Background: Student Branch details, local organizing committee and past event experience.
- Tourist and cultural activities for attendees.
Promotional Video
Submit a promotional video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes.
Showcase your country and host city, highlighting the academic and industrial landscape relevant to students and Young Professionals.
Include the main tourist and cultural attractions.
Applicant videos will be presented during the SBRM 2026 Gala Dinner.
Support Letters
The application must include two support letters:
- IEEE Section support letter.
- University support letter.
