The IEEE Regional Student Branches Meeting (SBRM) stands out as the premier student event within the Region 9, offering a dynamic platform for training, networking, and honing both soft and hard skills for all participating volunteers. This gathering serves as a vital nexus, uniting students from diverse backgrounds across Latin America and the Caribbean, making the Student Branches Regional Meeting an indispensable focal point in Region 9.

Our mission is to integrate all student leaderships in the Region and facilitate the exchange and knowledge of students and other professionals related to educational activities, to encourage networking, improve technological diffusion, propose the learning of skills in addition to engineering, facilitate the job insertion of young professionals and promote IEEE activities in the community where SBRM is developed.
It is a space for cultural exchange and for creating new connections between different universities, student branches, and sections of the IEEE.
