As a result of the second version of the Ambassadors Program in Region 9, we have obtained contact with companies in the field of agriculture, industrial safety in power electricity and energy control. Although the steps are few, they are firm, consolidating the principles, values and objectives of the IEEE. Forming strong and close alliances between the industry of our region and the institute. It has not been an easy road, but it has filled us with knowledge, of what and how the industry wants to receive new and best practices, of how as an Institute, we must address the imminent needs of the small, medium and large industry of Latin America, but even more of how we can add as an organization to the growth of our professional community.
Today we are pleased to report that, of the fifteen participating ambassadors, two of them reached the objectives and goals set at the beginning of the program and that thanks to their invaluable effort the Ambassadors Program will reach a third version in our Region. With changes and improvements, but always seeking to link everyone in our Region in the best way to the great organization to which we belong, the IEEE. Congratulations to Maria Camila Moreno Vergara of Colombia and Jesús Eduardo Arroyo Castillo of Mexico, members who won first place in the Ambassadors v2.0 Program.
