Sustainable Planting Initiative: Honoring Earth Day with IEEE PES

An environmental planting activity to promote sustainability and celebrate Earth Day with IEEE PES. This initiative aims to engage volunteers in hands-on action to raise awareness about environmental responsibility and the importance of green spaces in urban communities. Participants will contribute to the maintenance and expansion of an urban garden, fostering biodiversity, improving air quality, and encouraging sustainable living practices. The event also seeks to inspire future engineers to integrate environmental values into their professional paths, highlighting the role of power and energy engineers in building greener cities.
