The Event – Rising Stars

  • Participants will leave the event with the knowledge necessary to succeed in their professional growth.

Objectives

  • Promote a space to inform, stimulate, excite and bring together Members, Young Professionals and Students from around the world to network and be inspired by each other.
  • Bringing members the opportunities offered by IEEE Societies that promote empowerment as leaders in pursuit of the Main purpose.
  • Closing the gap between Industry and Academia, creating spaces for networking and learning that develop leadership and the IEEE mission

The Audience

The IEEE Region 9 Congress is the new initiative that will provides a space for networking, meeting and develop soft and hard skills to all volunteers. The event is an opportunity to bring together student and professional leaders from all Sections of Region 9, promoting opportunities for networking, training and celebrating activities carried out during the year.

  1. Undergraduate and Graduate Student Members: Engineering students that are passionate for the research and development.
  2. Professional members from all over Latin America: who work directly in the industry and Academia in different countries and positions.
  3. Representation of different companies and IEEE Societies.
