Alejandro Carbonell is the Director of Innovation at Ciudad del Saber Foundation, where he leads programs supporting startups, women-led ventures, and social entrepreneurship, strengthening Panama’s innovation ecosystem. He has designed and executed strategies that positioned the Foundation as a regional benchmark, forging strategic alliances and driving solutions to social and economic challenges.
Previously, he co-founded Tutorez, an edtech platform active in seven countries with over 1,500 tutors. He also held managerial roles at Estrella Azul (Coca-Cola FEMSA) and began his career at Procter & Gamble as Associate Brand Manager for Central America and the Caribbean.
