A Message from the President
Heriberto Gonzalez, PE, MBA
PES Chapter Chair
Heriberto Gonzalez is an IEEE Member . Some of the main goals for Mr. Gonzalez as PES Chapter Chair are:
•Support the section in becoming more active and having a stronger presence within the IEEE.
•Promoting the section and PES Chapter within the engineering professionals so they can benefit from continue education while at the same time getting exposure to the industry at the international level.
•Take the opportunity for the section to be a channel and opportunity for the Section members in the various organizations and corporations to showcase their great work with IEEE and the rest of the industry.
•Mr. Gonzalez would also like to share with the rest of the section and the IEEE the learnings, improvements, and innovations being pursued by Puerto Rican Engineers including this Section members during the efforts of modernizing Puerto Rico’s electric grid.

IEEE PR&C Section PES Chapter – Planned Activities 2020 (.PDF)
Our representation as Society includes greater sharing with our subsection members of the Dominican Republic who has many interested members in continuing the development of their skills and knowledge with the rest of the region 9 and the world in IEEE.
We currently have a Subsection in the Dominican Republic with a PES Chapter and two (2) student branches in the Section. I am available for your suggestions, recommendations and continued growth of this organization.
