IEEE EDS SUMMER SCHOOL 2023 “Bridging computational materials science with the experimental realm” –Bremen-Mexican Network BREMEX –
June 12 @ 7:21 pm - June 14 @ 7:21 pm
Topics
Hybrid interfaces in experiments and simulation:
– Experimental insights on fabrication and characterization of diverse nanomaterials for devices and sensing applications.
– Recent trends in simulations of interfaces – thermodynamical properties/statistical physics (dynamic) vs. structure/energy optimizing methods (static) in atomistic simulations.
– two approaches to evaluate total energies: Density functional theory (DFT) vs. force-field (FF) simulation methods
Event in 2 modalities:
1. In presence (Max 15 persons)
2. Remote in Zoom (Max 30)
Acceptance of attendants will be confirmed by email.
