The IEEE Aguascalientes Section participated in a conference and networking session held at the Universidad Politécnica de Aguascalientes (UPA), featuring the presentation “Megatrends” delivered by Mtro. Otto Granados Franco and Dr. José Ignacio Castillo. During the session, attendees explored current global trends and their impact on technology, education, innovation, and professional development. The conference provided valuable insights into emerging challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of engineering and society. Following the presentation, participants took part in a networking coffee break, creating an opportunity for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and interaction among students, academic authorities, professionals, and IEEE representatives. The IEEE Aguascalientes Section participated in a conference at the UAA South Campus featuring “Artificial Intelligence and Cyborg”, presented by Dr. José Ignacio Castillo. The conference provided an opportunity to explore topics related to artificial intelligence, cyborg technologies, and their implications for the future of engineering and technology. The activity was coordinated by Dr. Alejandro Román, with the special participation of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE). As part of the activity, a symbolic presentation of awards was held to recognize the student branches of ITPA (EDINGER) and UAA (SARA). This recognition highlighted the participation and contributions of student branches within the IEEE community. The activity concluded with a networking coffee break, providing an opportunity for attendees, students, academic representatives, and IEEE volunteers to exchange ideas and strengthen professional connections.
