This meeting will serve as a coordination session of the IEEE Student Branch. Its primary objective is to welcome and get to know new members, review the current roles and responsibilities within the branch, and discuss each member’s level of participation and involvement in ongoing activities. In addition, the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss and evaluate the possibility of organizing an activity in celebration of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Day. Members will brainstorm potential initiatives, assess available resources and timelines, and determine the feasibility of hosting an event. Participants will also discuss possible formats, target audiences, responsibilities, and logistics to ensure that any proposed activity aligns with the branch’s goals of promoting diversity, inclusion, and engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The session will encourage active participation, strengthen collaboration among members, and support the planning of future branch and WIE-related initiatives.
