Virtual Free Event – Winter School on Semiconductor Devices and ICs 2026 (Day 2) The Winter School on Semiconductor Devices and ICs 2026 continues with its second day of technical sessions on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, as a free virtual event aimed at students, researchers, and professionals interested in semiconductor technologies. The first lecture, “Implementation of Solid-State Semiconductor Materials for Sensor Development,” will be presented by Dr. Iker Rodrigo Chávez Urbiola, focusing on the integration of solid-state semiconductor materials in the design and development of sensing devices. The second lecture, “Technologies for Microdevice Packaging Processes,” will be delivered by Dr. Jesús Javier Alcántar Peña, addressing current and emerging technologies used in the packaging of microdevices, a critical stage in ensuring device performance, reliability, and scalability.
