Ecuadorian Summer School on Telerobotics and Aerial Vehicles

By integrating robotics and autonomous systems many industries have enhanced their production and optimized their activities. This revolution has modified academic teaching focus to guarantee that students will be able to interact and manipulate with robotics and its different applications. To prepare the next generation of engineers and researchers on various topics of robotics and their integration into the industry, the IEEE RAS Student Chapter at Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN) is organizing a Technical Summer Camp focused on Aerial Robotics & UAVs, Autonomous Ground Vehicles & Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Telerobotics.
This technical Summer School aims to create a space for collaboration and research on telerobotics, aerial vehicles and intelligent vehicles. These topics were chosen due to their potential of being integrated in industrial processes and many tasks around Ecuador. Beyond technical training, we aim to foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and collaborative learning, where students are encouraged to explore robotics for its own sake, develop problem-solving skills, and engage with cutting-edge technology in meaningful ways.
