Following the successful presentation organized by the IEEE Student Branch on April 14, a recreational activity will be held for all students and academics who attended the event. The purpose of this activity is to foster camaraderie, encourage informal networking, and provide a relaxed environment where participants can share experiences beyond the academic setting. Throughout the session, attendees will be able to engage in various recreational dynamics designed to promote collaboration, creativity, and enjoyment. These activities aim to strengthen bonds within the academic community while offering a refreshing break after the formal proceedings. The event will conclude with a coffee break, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to continue conversations in a more casual atmosphere, exchange ideas, and build connections that may inspire future initiatives. Se invita a todos/as los/as miembros de Sección Chile Centro, a unirse a nuestra próxima reunión mensual de Directorio este miércoles 22 de abril de 12.30 a 14.00 (hora local de Chile, UTC-4). Recordar que sólo el Directorio de Sección tiene derecho a voto en estas sesiones. Dia de las niñas en las TICs
To celebrate Girls in ICT Day, we are organizing a series of activities aimed at encouraging girls to explore opportunities in technology and engineering fields. These activities will take place in collaboration with several universities in Uruguay, including Universidad de la República (Udelar), Universidad ORT, and Universidad de Montevideo. As part of this initiative, IEEE Women in Engineering volunteers will participate alongside the universities in delivering workshops designed to introduce girls to different areas of technology, engineering, and digital innovation. The goal of these activities is to inspire young students, provide them with role models in STEM, and help create a space where they can explore their curiosity and potential in technology-related careers.
