Oscar Fernández celebrates his 100th birthday, the oldest volunteer in the Argentina Section!

He is in good health and still volunteering. It is rare to commemorate the 100th birthday of a volunteer, 75 years of continuous volunteer IEEE and member of our region.

We are preparing a meeting to celebrate his birthday on next April, 22nd and we would like to invite you to participate.

Oscar is a Life Senior Member IEEE, he was born on April 16th, 1915 and he is still an active volunteer today. In 1939 he was part of the founding group of what is now IEEE Argentina, born as Buenos Aires Section of the IRE, Institute of Radio Engineers.

He served several times as President of the Argentina Section and he also was R9 Director.
